TRIF | A new project was implemented, illumination of the monument to the Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky in Nizhny Novgorod

In 2021 in Nizhny Novgorod a monument was opened to the Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky. This first equestrian sculpture in the city, which is 13 meters high, was placed at the Arrow of Oka and Volga, near the Cathedral of Saint Alexander Nevsky. The event was timed to the 800th anniversary of the two events, the founding of Nizhny Novgorod and the birth of the Grand Duke. The monument installation also included a major renovation of the Arrow territory.
TRIF participated in the creation of lighting for the sculptural composition. For this purpose, HARD led recessed into the ground and JUPITER iO 100 projector poles were used.

Installed in the paving in a semicircle, HARD fringe the area around the monument. Like the other TRIF luminaires, the model is manufactured using a unique technology of stainless steel and Plexiglas polymethylmethacrylate. This ensures that the TRIF HARD model meets IP69K water and dust resistance and IK10 impact resistance rating. They can withstand extreme stresses, including vandalism, and operate even in water and under ice for a lifetime of up to 100,000 hours.

JUPITER iO 100 floodlights provide directional lighting for the sculpture. The luminaires used for this project are black matte finish. The model can be painted in any RAL color to order and is made to custom sizes. Like the TRIF HARD, the JUPITER iO 100 pole mount projectors are IP69K and IK10 rated for up to 100,000 hours.
