One of the key conditions for safe navigation is properly organized lighting equipment on water transport. This also applies to small vessels. For them, the Russian manufacturer of TRIF lamps offers its new development,  LED navigation side lights for boats of the SUPER UNI series.

BASICS OF VISUAL SIGNALING
According to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union, at night all small vessels should move only with navigation lights on. In addition, the constant availability of lighting devices is mandatory for all water transport types, except boats with outboard motors with a capacity of up to 30 hp (22.1 kW).

Like marker lights on land transport, navigation lights of a vessel serve to indicate it, indicate its type and nature of movement or parking. In accordance with the Rules of Navigation on Inland Waterways, small vessels must carry:

• top white light located in the bow of the vessel;
• side lights: green light on the starboard side, red light on the left;
• aft white light located in the aft part of the vessel.

Navigation lights are based on the well-proven TRIF SUPER UNI floodlight for outdoor lighting. A special version of this LED lamp, designed for installation on a boat, differs from the basic version with a more compact body and special fasteners (mounting bracket with two screws). Such fasteners ensure reliable fixation of the lamp.

The body of the navigation lamp is made of "marine" aluminum, and the ceiling is made of high—strength polymethylmethacrylate of the Plexiglas brand. The use of such materials together with our own sealing technology provides navigation side lights for boats Super UNI s with such properties:

• IP69K class moisture protection, which implies the possibility of long-term operation under water at a depth of more than 1 meter;
• corrosion resistance, including in conditions of high humidity and exposure to salts;
• the ability to withstand regular washing with a jet of hot liquid under high pressure.

In SUPER UNI, depending on its purpose, bright white, green or red LEDs are installed. The lamp body can be painted in any shade according to RAL, including the color of the  boat's side.
