In June, the city of Korolev (Moscow Oblast) witnessed the grand opening of the renovated Palace Square and the Garden of the Conquerors of Space in front of the Kalinin Central House of Culture. The renovated Central Park of Leisure also opened its doors to the city residence.

The comprehensive improvement of the central area was planned and timed to coincide with the city's anniversary. The modernization project involved replacing the paving on the square and adding amphitheater-style seating spaces, thus creating a large number of seats for rest. There were also installed new benches and litter bins. Thanks to the improved walking paths, new bikeways, and skateboarding spaces, the city center can now offer leisure opportunities to people of all ages. Young trees were planted around the fountain and in the garden, including a new linden avenue. Several playgrounds were organized on the side of the avenue that is the farthest from the Kalinin Palace of Culture. The area is now well lit with overhead fill light and several decorative lighting options.

The entire square in front of the Kalinin Central House of Culture is illuminated with TRIF JUPITER GROUND luminaires that are built into the paving. The lighting fixtures are placed randomly; according to the project, they symbolize a peaceful starry sky. These luminaire models were also used to illuminate the Mosaic Memorial Wall.
