TRIF | At The Urban Landscape Design International Conference

On June 6-7, TRIF participated in the International Conference “Landscape Architecture And Formation Of A Comfortable Urban Environment” that took place in Saint Petersburg in the framework of the same-name project. The conference was held at the Marble Palace branch of the Russian State Museum.

The list of honorary guests and speakers included: Igor Albin, the Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg; Hans Wesseling, the Consul General of the Netherlands; Nigel Thorne, a renown British landscape architect; Vladimir Gusev, the head of the Russian State Museum, as well as many other high-ranking participants.

During the five sessions, the conference discussed the issues of modern urban landscape design and architecture. The topics of reports included: Urban Environmentalization and Humanization, Preservation of Valuable Old-Aged Trees, Postindustrial Urban Parks, The History and Evolution of Urban Furniture: From a Bench to Smart City and BIM, and more.
