We're Expanding Our Promotion In The Global Market! A Photoshoot Of The TRIF-Greece-Porto Cheli Project By A Renown Maitre Of Architectural Photography, Pygmalion Karatzas

We have caught the interest of international publications! One of TRIF's finished projects has been published on the website of a photographer of international renown, Pygmalion Karatzas. What's got caught in his lens is the Greek project of ours: a private villa in Porto Cheli (Argolis, Greece).

Pygmalion Karatzas specializes in architectural and industrial photography. A distinctive feature of his works is the long exposure. Due to his dual perception of the surrounding world – as a photographer and an architect – Pygmalion creates peculiar and inimitable photographs. His still-life and landscape shots are frequently reminiscent of surrealistic paintings rather than real-life objects.

Within this project on the Greek Riviera, the Russian company TRIF performed the following works:

  • concept development;
  • architectural design;
  • interior design projects;
  • furniture manufacturing (by our subdivision TRIF-mebel);
  • landscape design;
  • manufacturing of indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures;
  • construction supervision.

The large glazing area with the unique Sky-Frame window systems allowed us to implement the main concept of the project: no boundary between the interior and exterior spaces.

The lighting project developed for the villa and the adjacent territory employed more than 300 TRIF luminaires. Inside the house, the interior lighting scheme utilized the TRIF DECO wall lights and the TRIF LUNA built-in floor luminaires. The latter series is also used for illuminating the external walls. The balcony decorative highlighting is arranged with the use of the TRIF PIN lights. The driveway is outlined with the TRIF ICE TX LED paving stones.

The landscape lighting scheme was subdivided into two constituents. The GARDEN 100 decorative floodlights with a 'warm' spectrum were used to highlight the olive trees surrounding the villa and the pool. And the soft landscape objects behind the house were illuminated by the same-series floodlights with RGB light-emitting diodes.
